フォトグラファー。長野県生まれ。一般企業での勤務の傍ら、副業でイベント・ウェディング・スクールフォトなどを撮影。2019年フリーランスフォトグラファーとして独立。
長野県の自然風土に基づく、農業や醸造、伝統工芸の漆、精密工業など、生活の中での生業としての「働くこと」を、普段のかわりない生活の中で繰り返す人々の取材をきっかけに、アクチュアルな時間の流れの中で生きる市井の人々と社会を、撮影を通じて伝えることをテーマに活動している。

Tomohiro Yamada

Photographer. Born in Nagano Prefecture. In addition to working at a general company, I shoot events, weddings, school photos, etc. as a side job. Became independent as a freelance photographer in 2019.
Based on the natural climate of Nagano Prefecture, I have been working on the theme of conveying the everyday people and society who live in the actual flow of time through photography, starting with interviews with people who repeat ``work'' as a vocation in their daily lives, such as agriculture, brewing, traditional crafts of lacquer, and precision manufacturing.
In addition to photography, he has been actively working on video production since 2020, and has been focusing on his activities as a videographer, having shot and produced approximately 80 videos in four years.
As a personal project, I have a series of street snapshots taken in Japan and China using a 40mm lens.
